Oliver Herring is a world-renowned installation artist, and had a show titled "31 Days" at the Emmanuel Art Gallery in Denver. I was able to design and produce this chalk installation about 20 yards from the entrance of the gallery on the opening night.
The free-hand installation is approximately 9 feet in height, fully immersing pedestrians in the signage, and provides them with a call to action to move toward the gallery space by following circular dots leading from the installation to the doorway of the gallery.
With little time for marketing the exhibition opening, this large-scale installation stopped hundreds of students in their tracks as they walked through the heavily populated area during the day of the opening.
