Oliver Herring is a world-renowned installation artist, and had a show titled 31 Days at the Emmanuel Art Gallery in Denver.  While interning at the gallery I was able to design and produce this chalk installation about 20 yards from the entrance of the gallery on the opening night.
The free-hand installation is approximately 9 feet in height, fully immersing pedestrians in the signage, and provides them with a call to action to move toward the gallery space.
With little time for marketing the exhibition opening, this large-scale installation stopped hundreds of students in their tracks as they walked through the heavily populated area during the day of the opening.
